Jan Vychytil

Jan Vychytil *1946 – 2004 Významný český violoncellový pedagog. Zakladatel a dlouholetý ředitel prvního hudebního gymnázia v Praze, dnešního Gymnázia a Hudební školy hl. m. Prahy (GMHS). Jan Vychytil was a well-known Czech cellist and cello teacher and a leading figure in cello pedagogy in this country. He was founder and long-standing Headmaster of the first music-specialist grammar school in Prague, known today as the City of Prague Grammar and Music School.
